Description
It could be said that most evangelicals in Latin America are not missionally oriented to make lasting social changes because they have not understood the involvement of the various professions and their related fields, rooted in the values of the kingdom of God, and as they expressed them through their day to day role in society.
In 2014 the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education (AIPESC in Spanish) held its fifth Latin American consultation in San Jose, Costa Rica. The theme of the conference was "Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Response to Present-Day Latin American Reality." This book, born out the consultation, expresses the wishes of a movement heading towards a solution of the challenges expressed in the consultation. It proposes approaches that may connect what is divided and not working properly, and offers a continuous action plan at the continental level, from the realm of a Christian Higher Education.
